How to be a good mom while living with a chronic pain condition

I haven't written on this blog in a very long time. So long that I can hear the chirp of crickets as I type this. I've been dealingwith some health issue that many might shrug off and poo-poo this condition....especially doctors. What is this condition I speak of you ask? I have Fibromyalgia. If you don't know what Fibromyalgia is, I will tell you the first way I can describe it is it is a chronic, widespead pain condition, much like arthritis which one could have in a specific area like say the knees or shoulder. But this condition effects your whole entire body. There has been a lot of mystery and controversy surrounding this condition for many reasons. First, I think because doctors don't know what the cause of it is yet. Number two there are very few medications on the market specifically for this condition and number three doctors think it's a it is more of a "mental' illness rather than a physical one. All of these factors make it super frustrating for the patient to get the help and treatment they need to live a "normal" functional life.
